At Hunterhouse College we are fully committed to the personal development of all of our pupils – socially, morally, physically, creatively and artistically.  In developing these attributes the vibrant extra–curricular programme is an important and continually evolving part of school life. The following are some of the activities available:   Public Speaking Drama Junior and Senior Choirs School Orchestra Rock, Jazz and Brass Groups Book Clubs Film Art & Crafts Scripture Union Hockey, netball, tennis, badminton, soccer Athletics, cross-country Equestrian Club   Alongside these a number of trips are on offer to provide additional opportunities for pupils to broaden their experiences, understand different cultures and mature as young people. Recent trips include: The Year 8 Cultra Residential Ski Trip Language trips Hockey and Netball Tour to Spain Science trip to European Space Centre, Belgium Geography trip to Italy

Year 8 girls have an annual residential trip to Cultra and a History trip to Carrickfergus Castle.

“I like Hunterhouse College because of the after-school clubs.  There is something for everyone, as they range from sport to art clubs.  In Year 8, I really enjoyed the trip we went on to Cultra.  We did many activities including a scavenger hunt and a day as a Victorian schoolgirl.  I am really enjoying Hunterhouse and the teachers are kind and caring.”
