| Significant improvements have been made to the school buildings and teaching and learning environment. In recent years purpose built facilities have been added to the school and existing facilities updated and refurbished. The traditions and heritage of the College are clearly visible in Colinmore House which has undergone extensive renovation. The Redwood Centre provides modern restaurant facilities as well as a well equipped Sports Hall and multi-gym. New computer suites have been made available to several departments while wireless laptop technology and Interactive Whiteboards are also used throughout the school. This has created a learning environment fit for the 21st Century. | |
 | Gym facilities are available to girls outside normal lesson times after school (supervised by a member of staff and at certain times) |
The new LRC offers computing for girls of all ages within the school. The new computer suite boasts 65 computers/printing facilities to allow easy access to the internet and software essential in a modern learning environment. | |
 | The Technology department has been increased in size in recent years with new equipment added to enhance the pupils experience and allow them to work with more modern tools. |
“From her very first day at Hunterhouse Victoria has loved every minute of it and felt like she has belonged! She looks forward to going to school; she enjoys her classes, likes the teachers and makes the most of all activities on offer. With investment in the new science block, restaurant, PE suite and the re-opening of Colinmore, Hunterhouse is going from strength to strength and is offering modern, up to date facilities and equipment.” Parent of Year 10 pupil
